YouTube’s Sam and Nia Rader announce pregnancy after miscarriage, Ashley Madison controversy

Sam and Nia Rader Pregnancy Announcement

Back in August, YouTube vloggers Sam and Nia’s pregnancy announcement went viral when he flipped the script by telling her the news. Just days later, the couple revealed they lost the baby — which fueled speculation about whether Nia was ever pregnant. The month ended with Sam confirming he used Ashley Madison after he was named in the leak and with him getting kicked out of a vlogging conference.

After the highs and lows of that month, the family took a temporary break from their YouTube channel — but resumed making videos earlier this month, just in time to share the news that Nia is expecting again. In a video announcing that pregnancy last Friday, the couple surprised their moms by putting a bun in the oven. Sam and Nia explained of the video, “We feel beyond blessed that God has given us another baby so soon after suffering a miscarriage. I think our moms were just as thankful.”

The couple elaborated to People that, as with the pregnancy they announced in August, they haven’t yet seen a doctor. They estimate Nia is eight weeks along. Even though the chance of miscarriage remains elevated during the first trimester, Sam said they didn’t hesitate before sharing the news early again. “We believe life begins at conception and we believe it’s to be celebrated right away,” he said. “We don’t believe it’s something to be hidden … we were excited right away and we wanted to share that with our fans.”

Sam and Nia already shared another video related to this pregnancy, so it seems they plan to document the whole experience.
