Earlier this year, Jon Gosselin claimed he was going to file for primary custody of the sextuplets he shares with ex-wife Kate Gosselin.
“Regardless of what the judge decides, I have to at least try… I just wish Kate would wake up, realize how she’s behaving — and change her ways,” he announced.
Fast-forward more than seven months and it seems that absolutely nothing has happened. In fact, things seem to be going even more Kate’s way now that TLC is filming new episodes of Kate Plus 8.
So, what is Jon actually doing now? According to a source who spoke with Radar Online, the father-of-eight is vying for a cut of the cash.
“Jon’s trying to get a percentage of Kate’s TLC salary for the new Kate Plus 8 specials,” said an insider. “He has no stable job, no steady income, and now he’s trying to tell Kate that if she doesn’t give him a cut of the money, he will claim the kids hate filming and they are being forced to do it.”
The source added that, Jon no longer has the legal right to make decisions for his kids because he doesn’t keep up with child support.
In the past, I would have been skeptical about the report. But, considering Jon continually talks a big game about wanting to protect his kids and then doesn’t do anything, the story is fairly believable. The source summed that up by saying Jon is “all bark and no bite.”
“He isn’t going to court to fight for custody of the kids,” the source said. “He just uses that tactic to victimize himself so the public will feel bad for him.”
