Who is Whitney Thore’s fiancé Jake Beaudoin? Meet the single dad and DJ
My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Whitney Way Thore is engaged! Whitney made the announcement via People magazine earlier today, revealing that her fiancé is a man named Jake Beaudoin.
“Mountain trip got a little rocky,” Whitney captioned an Instagram gallery of engagement photos, adding the ☺️, 💍 and 🥰 emoji.
“Jake has officially graduated from boyfriend to fiancé,” Whitney told People. “We’re getting married, and we couldn’t be happier.”
Whitney says she and Jake and a group of friends were on a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains when he surprised her with the proposal.

Whitney Thore’s fiancé Jake Beaudoin is a 41-year-old single dad from the Hickory, North Carolina area. He has a 12-year-old daughter that he posts often on his Instagram.
It’s unclear what Jake’s relationship is with his daughter’s mother. She filed a child support claim in April of 2021, but there were no additional docket entries and the case was disposed by automatic default four months later.
It doesn’t appear to be a full-time job, but Jake is a DJ, musician, and EDM producer who goes by Breauski. Below is Jake’s latest original song “A Moment In Time” followed by his remix of “Edge of 17” by Stevie Nicks:
I am sure we can all expect a Breauski original song written for Whitney when My Big Fat Fabulous Life returns for a new season.
JAKE BEAUDOIN ARRESTED IN 2024
Jake Beaudoin has quite a few citations for traffic-related offenses like expired registration and speeding. There is also record of a DWI arrest in 2008.
Court records from another state indicate Jake’s license was suspended in 2015 due to failure to pay stemming from a citation for no registration.
Jake was cited for expired registration on two separate occasions in February, 2026.
Jake’s registration issues resulted in an arrest in 2024. According to jail records, Jake was booked in September for expired registration, no driver’s license, and no inspection.

Whitney Way Thore has recently posted photos and video that clearly indicate she is filming for a new season of My Big Fat Fabulous life. In at least one of the behind-the-scenes clips from filming you can clearly see Jake is present.
Despite the apparent confirmation of a new season, we still do not have a premiere date for My Big Fat Fabulous Life Season 14. Given the very public engagement announcement, which included posts on the official TLC social media accounts, it is logical to assume there will be an announcement soon. Stay tuned!
