Weekend Weddings: Mario Lopez wed Courtney Mazza , and Ashley Hebert married J.P. Rosenbaum

Courtney Mazzo married Mario Lopez husband and wife

The X Factor and Extra co-host Mario Lopez married his long time girlfriend Courtney Mazza Saturday, December 1, 2012 in Mexico. Their two-year-old daughter Gia was the flower girl for the affair (wearing a dress that matched mama’s,) which was filmed for the TLC special “Mario and Courtney’s Wedding Fiesta,” airing December 8.

Courtney gushed to US Weekly that the wedding is just the icing on the cake of their great relationship,”The only thing that’s going to change is my last name. Same love, same everything!”

Mario and Courtney have been dating since 2006, when they met while costarring in a Broadway revival of A Chorus Line. Mario was married once before, but it was one of those Hollywood quickies. His marriage to Ali Landry in 2004 was annulled two weeks later.

Of course, Mario and Courtney’s wedding isn’t the only ceremony this weekend that will have a television special! The Bachelorette couple Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum also got married Saturday, and ABC was taping the whole thing and host Chris Harrison was the officiator.

Among the guests were past contestants of the dating show including Trista and Ryan Sutter (their 2003 marriage was also televised), Jason and Molly Mesnick (wedding also televised in 2010,) Emily Maynard, Ali Fedotowsky, Michelle Money and Michael Stagliano.

Ashley wore a strapless gown with a huge train, and J.P. had to actually pick her up to help her get off stage after the ceremony was over.

J.P. stood under a chuppa to acknowledge his Jewish heritage, and their mothers performed a Celtic knot ceremony that involved tying Ashley and J.P.’s hands together before saying a prayer.

An insider told Wetpaint that had to restrain themselves from kissing throughout the ceremony.

The weddings menu was chicken with English peas and mashed potatoes, or the vegetarian option of beets and risotto, and the wedding song was “Fools Rush In,” which is appropriate for any Bachelor/ette wedding.

After watching Ashley’s emotional Bachelorette season, it’s wonderful to see her find happiness and love. She’s a lady who deserves it.

Aren’t these two just the cutest?
