VIDEOS Lindsay Lohan released from prison
Lindsay Lohan was smuggled out of Lynwood Correctional Facility in the wee hours of the morning Monday and an L.A. County Sheriff’s Department spokesman later spoke to photographers gathered outside to basically let them know that “Elvis has left the building.”
The video is cut off at the very beginning, but the spokesman says Lindsay was released at 1:35 AM pst and was taken to UCLA Medical Center where she will enter an “intense specialized program to deal with psychological, as well as addiction problems,” according to TMZ.
Lindsay was ordered by her nemesis, Judge Marsha Revel, to attend the Morningside Recovery Center, but Revel had a last minute change of heart and allowed Lindsay to go to UCLA instead, which is where two court appointed psychiatrists along with other medical professionals had recommended she go. They believed UCLA was the best option “because the treatment program was perfectly suited for Lindsay’s psychiatric and drug problems.”
Here is an ABC News report on Lindsays release that appears to have actual footage of Lindsay leaving Lynwood in a black SUV:
Lindsay had served 14 days behind bars and now begins her court-mandated 90 days of rehab treatment.
