Although some herald Labor Day as the end of summer, it actually lasts through September 21 (up here in the Northern Hemisphere), so that means “The Fox” by Norwegian duo Ylvis is eligible for 2013’s “Song of the Summer,” and I think when you hear it (and see the video — uploaded September 3) you will have to agree it has no competition. So move over Robert Thicke and make room for Bård Ylvisåker and Vegard Ylvisåker as they delve into the eternal mystery, “What the fox say?”
