VIDEO Sweet Home Floribama Shore Season 2 preview trailer featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd’s classic track
The young ladies and gentlemen of MTV’s Floribama Shore are returning for a second season in July, and the network has just released the first preview trailer featuring the music (and most of the words) from the classic Lynyrd Skynyrd song “Sweet Home Alabama!”
The clip features all eight returning cast members, which includes Aimee Hall, Candace Rice, Codi Butts, Gus Smyrnios, Jeremiah Buoni, Kirk Medas, Kortni Gilson and Nilsa Prowant. As the familiar Lynyrd Skynyrd guitar riff plays, we see the crew enjoying some sun and sand, as well as a crawfish boil and a bicep workout courtesy of Southern bar-belle Nilsa. (And only because it happened to catch my eye as I was snapping screen caps for the main image of this post, I will point out that Nilsa may or may not be wearing what Snooki and JWoww would refer to as “underwears.”)
“Good food, good meat, good God, let’s eat!” the cast toasts before digging in to their mud bug feast.
Floribama Shore will be drafting right off of the hugely successful return of it’s older MTV sibling Jersey Shore: Family Vacation when Season 2 premieres Monday, July 9 at 10/9c on MTV.
