Monday Seattle cop Ian Walsh is caught on tape punching a 17-year-old girl during a jaywalking arrest. While he’s attempting to arrest the girl’s 19-year-old friend Marilyn Levias, the 17-year-old pushes him and he responds with a swift and full punch to the face.
An off camera onlooker says, “Are you serious? Are you serious?”

The Seattle Police Department has reassigned Walsh, and is investigating the situation, but The Seattle Police Officer’s Guild is aggressively defending the officer, saying if he did anything wrong, it was waiting to use force. Others are calling this an instance of police brutality.
