HLN’s Nancy Grace makes a living stirring up controversies and her questionable at best use of hashtags is certainly no different. After a while folks started noticing a trend via her Twitter account in regards to how she – or whomever operates her handle – was going about using hashtags to promote whatever story she was discussing.

The fine folks over at Gawker sourced a Best of the Queen of Hashtags and here are just some of the examples from her arsenal:

I’ve got some good news and some bad news… (I think you know where that was going.)

Legal eagle Nancy Grace is almost always hopping mad, but on Monday night’s episode of Dancing with the Stars she was just plain hopping during her quick step performance with partner Tristan MacManus. All of the hopping, combined with Grace’s compact dress, led to a rather unfortunate wardrobe malfunction as the nation watched her commit a first degree felonious visual assault in the form of a nip slip.

Man arrested, found with knife, zip ties after threatening to slit Nancy Grace’s throat

In June, David Lee Simpson of Bath, New York tweeted that he was going to tie Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell to a “tree naked and leave them to suffer all night,” then “slit their throats.” The 48-year-old was said to have been obsessed with Jodi Arias and was enraged by comments Grace and Velez-Mitchell made about the now convicted murderer. An Arizona Sheriff took the threats seriously and a subsequent investigation and arrest revealed that he might very well have intended to follow through with his murderous threats.

Last night Charles Bothuell appeared on a live taping of Nancy Grace to appeal for help in finding his missing 12-year-old son. In a stunning turn, Grace reveals to the father that the boy has been found in the family’s basement. As the dad is overwhelmed and barely able to catch his breath, Grace immediately starts to question him – implying that he might have had something to do with it!
