Buckwild star Salwa Amin was arrested earlier today after police found her and two other men in a shed behind a home believed to have been involved in drug trafficking. The criminal complaint stated police found three packages of heroin in the shed as well Oxycodone in her purse. She has been charged with felony drug possession with intent to deliver.
She was arraigned today and we have this video clip of Salwa with an officer at the West Virginia Regional Jail and Correctional Facility in which she says, “These aren’t right. All these things that I’ve been charged with are totally wrong. The officers that came and searched me, they didn’t find anything on me.”
In the clip you can see Salwa is still wearing the same shirt from her mug shot photo.
There has still been no official statement from Salwa or MTV on the arrest.
UPDATE – Here is a news report from local station WOWK with additional footage of Salwa Amin during her arraignment, including her questioning why her bail is set so high.
The reporter reveals in the clip that if the drugs in question were transported across state lines the charges against Salwa and the two men could become federal. That doesn’t sound good at all.
