Call the DeCinque girls! In a new series aptly titled Twinning, VH1 will challenge 12 sets of identical twins to see if they really have twintuition.

Identical twins have a unique and undeniable bond, sharing things with each other that fascinate the rest of us. Some sleep in the same bed. Some sleep with the same people. They all claim special “twin powers” that range from the amusing, like finishing each other’s sentences, to the astonishing, like actually feeling each other’s physical pain. Now, for the first time ever, VH1 is doubling down on a reality competition series that will put this twin-tuition to the test.
The 10-episode series was created by Lighthearted Entertainment, the same production company behind VH1’s Dating Naked. The sets of twins will compete for a grand prize of $$222,222.22 by testing their strengths and weaknesses as pairs. There also promises to be plenty of between-competition drama in the house as “viewers can expect double the meltdowns, double the hook-ups, and, of course, double the twists.”
“Twinning is a crazy concept and we are all the way in,” said Susan Levison, Executive Vice-President of Original Programming and Production for VH1. “This will be a competition series like no other and we love to pique our viewers’ twinterest. Come one, come all for the noisiest house show in years.”
