US Celebrity Big Brother cast revealed: Brandi Glanville, Omarosa, Shannon Elizabeth…

US Celebrity Big Brother cast

CBS is importing the popular UK spin-off Celebrity Big Brother, and just before the Grammy Awards the full cast of house guests for the inaugural season was announced, including former White House advisor (LOL) Omarosa and professional reality show couch surfer Brandi Glanville.

The official announcement was a quick commercial that flashed the celebrities’ faces and names, which included randy Brandi and Dramarosa in addition to American Pie actress Shannon Elizabeth, Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath, The Cosby Show actress Keshia Knight Pulliam, former NBA star (and former Ron Artest) Metta World Peace, UFC light heavyweight champ Chuck Liddell, Nickelodeon actor and boy bander James Maslow, Tony-Award-winning Hairspray actress Marissa Winokur, The Tonight Show‘s Ross Matthews and Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez.

Here’s the promo video followed by a brief description from CBS:

Celebrity Big Brother is the first celebrity edition of reality hit Big Brother and follows a group of celebrities living together in a house outfitted with 87 HD cameras and more than 100 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, someone will be voted out of the house, with the last remaining Houseguest receiving a grand prize.

The American Celebrity Big Brother will air from February 7 until February 25, which will put it up against the Winter Olympics on NBC. The first two-hour live eviction episode will be February 9. The grand prize is a cool $250,000 for whomever is the last celebrity remaining.

Prior to the reveal, CBB host Julie Chen teased the cast announcement with a tweet that looks to be each cast member summed up by a single emoji:

After the announcement was officially made, many a few of the cast members responded with tweets of their own:

This will actually be Brandi Glanville’s second go-around on Celebrity Big Brother as she previously appeared on the UK version. The former Real Housewife will also be a houseguest on WE tv’s Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition premiering in March — after Celebrity Big Brother‘s February run despite being filmed months and months (and moths!) ago.

As mentioned above, the US version of Celebrity Big Brother will premiere Wednesday, February 7 at 8/7c on CBS.
