Toddler toilet training tablet technology via the iPotty

The iPotty

Are you having trouble getting your sweet little princess or prince to go tee-tee or too-too where they’re supposed to? Well now you can get some toddler toilet training tablet technology assistance courtesy of the iPotty for iPad!

A company by the name of CTA Digital has unveiled this latest product at the popular CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2013 in Las Vegas. It’s not too complicated of a concept as it’s exactly what you see above; a toilet training device with a holder attached designed for the iPad.

An obvious concern that arises when combining these two ideas for your technologically savvy sweetie-pie is the issue of splash protection. The makers thought of that as there’s a plastic sheet that’s included which fits over the iPad.

There’s no specific app to go along with the iPotty but there’s several options available for potty training via the App Store. The iPotty will be available at a price of $39.99 in March. CTA product specialist Camilo Gallardo said:

“It’s novel to a lot of people but we’ve gotten great feedback from parents who think it’d be great for training.”

All joking aside, this may not be the worst idea. Having raised a kid through this challenging period, I know at the time, if I thought it would’ve worked I would have given it a try. Come to think of it, I want one for my throne.

Do you think the iPotty could help with potty training?
