TLC’s polygamist reality series Sister Wives is in the midst of perhaps its biggest headline-grabbing controversy in the history of the show after we broke the story that family patriarch Kody Brown had legally divorced his first wife Meri Brown and later legally married his fourth wife Robyn Brown in a move that the family later described as “legally restructuring” in a statement. Seemingly in support of the notion that in reality TV programming there is no such thing as bad publicity, TLC has officially announced they have renewed Sister Wives for a sixth season.
The renewal announcement comes in a press release issued by the network earlier today which is, on the surface, more about the two-hour Season 5 finale in which details about why Kody divorced and remarried will (we assume) be revealed. Sister Wives Picked up for a Sixth Season
Los Angeles, CA – Rumors and speculation have surrounded the recent legal restructuring of the Brown family and they intend to set the record straight when the season wraps up on Sunday March 1st. The season finale airs Sunday March 1 at 8/9c with a special Tell All airing immediately after at 9/8c.
