TLC announces first talk show, All About Sex, featuring Margaret Cho, Heather McDonald and Marissa Jaret Winokur
The network that brings us 19 Kids and Counting and Sex Sent Me to the ER is diving into the talk-show pool with All About Sex. Margaret Cho, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Heather McDonald will co-host the weekly late-night show.
From TLC…
Each week will bring a rotating selection of segments, including observations on the week’s craziest sex-related news, open conversations about love and marriage, taking viewer calls and social media inquiries regarding their relationship challenges, and helping demystify the kinds of questions that you’re too embarrassed to even Google yourself.
The co-hosts will be joined by Atlanta-based sex and relationship expert Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry. Together, TLC promises the ladies will blend “together their unique perspectives, diverse backgrounds, and a hell of a lot of humor.” The network adds, “Spending a half-hour with the women of All About Sex will be even better than some post-coitus cuddling.”
Before All About Sex, Margaret, Marissa and Heather all participated in roundtable discussions on Chelsea Lately. Sources close to Heather, who was the most regular guest on the E! show, told TMZ she was “blindsided” by Chelsea Handlers’s move to Netflix and is relieved to have a new show.
The first of six ordered episodes will premiere on TLC at 11/10c on Saturday, Jan. 10, following Sex Sent Me to the ER.
