Without question I can officially state that Tiger Woods has survived his scandals and tribulations in tact and is ready to return to golfing prominence.  How can I be so sure?  Well the dude has finally started using his Twitter account y’all!

That’s right, the man who has had arguably the harshest media spotlight in history focused upon him has began a new and better life aided with the social networking tool of the day.  You ain’t gotta go to TMZ or ESPN to find out about Tiger anymore.  You can just head to his Twitter page to keep up with the living legend.

Here is a screen shot of the pertinent information that has streamed from Tiger’s Twitter feed so far:

In a way Twitter could be viewed as modern day form of Buddhism, which Tiger has returned to for peace and understanding.  You have followers and a means of self expression combined with the ability to achieve favorable karma.  Heck I bet you ol’ Siddhartha Gautama himself would have been an avid tweeterer and would have given Gaga a run for her money in followers.

As of this post Tiger is only following 7 other accounts which is less than his number of mistresses during his marriage to Elin Nordegren.  The one person he is following, the rest are promotional Tiger Woods stuff and Stanford University, is fellow golfer and Stanford alum Notah Begay III.
