Country music superstar Brad Paisley is still a guy ticked at his music label as court documents have surfaced revealing that he is suing Sony Music to the tune of $10 million.

The “Anything Like Me” singer, according to court docs filed on March 31, argues that label giant Sony has “failed to live up to their agreements and other legal obligations.”

The allegations went on to read (via Radar):

“The primary reason that Paisley is commencing this action is because Sony continuously has refused Paisley access to a variety of information and applied incorrect royalty rates, prices, and reductions, pursuant to the Recording Agreement, resulting in Sony’s significantly underpaying Paisley. For many years, Paisely and his advisors have sought to resolve this matter amicably with Sony, but to no avail.”

In 2010 Paisley initiated a lawsuit against Sony for Breach of Contract. In 2011 the Supreme Court of the State of New York dismissed that petition. The new amended lawsuit is seeking $10 million in consideration of Paisley’s massively successful tours and wide ranging record sales and his assertions that Sony has not been forthright in revealing the revenue the star has brought to their corporation.

Paisley has 18 #1 hits and was the youngest performer to have been inducted to the Grand Ole Opry.
