Apparently a small group of people care so passionately about what they think Beyonce and Jay-Z should do with 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy’s hair that they’ve signed a Change.org petition about it.
New Yorker Jasmine Tolliver started the petition, and it has over 4,000 signatures so far. Not an extremely persuasive number, but enough that this has become a thing.
One signer, Cassie Lee from ROCKVILLE, MD explained that she signed the petition because “I hate when a mother looks like a million dollars with their hair all done and the child looks like they haven’t seen a comb since they were born.”
However, not all the comments on the petition are supportive of the “movement.” Kameelah Stewart from Las Vegas wrote, “This is the dumbest thing I have seen in my life, you biddies don’t have anything to but to pick on a child and her parent for her hair, you have no right to assume that you are the authority on anyone’s hair, you judgemental [sic] females, that is her child.”
