The father of Teen Mom 3 star Briana DeJesus’ daughter Nova appears to be behind bars again. According to online records, Devoin Austin was arrested on Tuesday, September 24, this time for violating his probation stemming from his arrest on September 1 for alleged burglary, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The online arrest records state only “VIOLATE PROBATION/ COMM CONTRL” for his offense, so it’s unclear exactly how he violated his probation. As far as “COMM CONTRL” that stands for Community Control, which has this definition on the Florida Department of Corrections website:
Community control is a form of intensive supervised house arrest in the community, including surveillance on weekends and holidays, administered by officers with limited caseloads. It is an individualized program in which the freedom of the offender is restricted within the community, home or non-institutional residential placement, and specified sanctions are imposed and enforced. As with probation, violation of any community control condition may result in revocation by the court and imposition of any sentence, which it might have imposed before placing the offender on community control supervision. Many of the offenders who are placed on community control are prison diversions.
I’m not sure if Devoin was on community control or not, but the fact that it was mentioned suggests that he was.
Devoin is still listed as being in custody, which is backed up by the fact that his usually overactive Twitter account has been silent since September 24. His last tweet was simply an icon of a fist raised in the air. That was preceded by what appears to be a reference to the scene from tonight’s episode (it was also available as a preview clip) in which Devoin appeared before a judge for threatening things he allegedly tweeted at Briana: “I be forgetting nova gonna grow up 14 years from now & get straight on twitter and be able to follow my deleted profile. #Oh”
Meanwhile, Briana referenced the fact Devoin was back behind bars with a tweet earlier tonight:

UPDATE – Wetpaint is reporting that Devoin “violated his probation by failing to complete 20 hours of community service” and “failing to make payments that he owed to the court.” He is reportedly being held without bail.
