Sylvester Stallone announces fifth Rambo movie
Sylvester Stallone is one busy man. The action movie legend, who will turn 69 years old this year, recently announced plans for a fifth (and, presumably, final) Rambo film while dropping some other info on an unrelated project on Twitter:
Doing Scarpa based on Gangster Greg Scarpa after LAST BLOOD RAMBO…

Of course, Syl-Sta (what the star formerly known as Sly-Sto goes by these days) has to finish another sequel first. He’s currently in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love and library steps, to shoot Creed–the seventh movie in the Rocky series. At some point in there, he’s also going to have to make room for the heavily-rumored and extremely-likely Expendables 4, and for his 70th birthday party.
Stallone last portrayed Rambo in the 2008 movie of the same name. It’s not yet known exactly what the picture will be about. Recently, though, Stallone dropped hints that John Rambo might be headed down Mexico way, to do battle with a nefarious and unnamed drug cartel. Stallone wrote a majority of the screenplay himself, and called it “his No Country for Old Men.”
What do you think, folks? Has this guy still got it, or is he full of nothing but ambition? Will you check out a fourth Expendables, a fifth Rambo, a seventh Rocky? What say?
