Justin Bieber is starting off 2015 on a bad foot — literally. The now-blond 20-year-old pop singer posted a photo earlier today of his swollen kicks-filler along with the caption, “Broke my damn foot” plus a few thumbs down and piles of poop emoji to clarify his mood.
The foot photo (phooto?) came via Shots (above), but Justin iterated his frustration on Twitter:

It’s unclear at this point what The Biebs was up to when he suffered the podiatric malfunction, though he did post this photo montage of himself playing a little soccer (aka football) over the weekend:

As fans of Justin Bieber are probably aware, he has a bit of a medical history when it comes to his lower extremities. He famously broke his foot during a concert in 2009, and he claimed a hairline fracture in his foot led to his 2014 DUI arrest in Miami. Oh, and then there was that time he visited Disneyland in a wheelchair claiming it was because of a knee injury he got playing basketball. Did I mention his busted eardrum from cliff diving or his recent skateboarding spill caught on video?
Either way, we wish a speedy recovery to The Biebs and hope he’s back on his feet kicking soccer balls, skateboarding, playing hoops and cliff diving soon!
