Serial surrogate Meredith Olafson gives birth to 15th baby at 47; says pregnancy is easy for her

Meredith Olafson have been pregnant 15 times surrogate

Fargo, North Dakota’s Meredeith Olafson is a super surrogate, giving birth to her 15th baby March 29 after two sets of triplets, one set of twins and three single babies. Only four of the 15 children she’s carried have been her own.

Meredith, who says she’s only received a small amount of money compared to what some women receive for surrogacy services, told The Today Show she’s done it so much it because pregnancy is easy for her, and because she feels so deeply for families who can’t have children but desperately want them.

She barely gains excess weight during pregnancy, never has morning sickness, can work up to the day she deliveries, and experiences extremely short labors.

“My longest was my oldest daughter,” Olafson said. “She took me an hour and 15 minutes to deliver. My second daughter took me 30 minutes and the last two took me 20 minutes.”

Even though Meredith has really enjoyed bringing joy into the lives of other people by helping them have a child, the 47-year-old says her uterus is officially closing up shop after this last baby. Her family, however, say they’ve heard that line before.
