RHOD Tiffany Hendra clarifies those softcore porn reports
Tonight Bravo introduces us all to The Real Housewives of Dallas starring five sophisticated southern socialites from The Big D. But, thanks to numerous media reports over the last few weeks, one of these women has been more closely associated with “The Big D” than the others. Stories from The New York Post‘s Page Six, The Daily Mail, and Radar Online have all titled posts linking actress and model Tiffany Hendra to porn, and Tiffany recently opened up about those projects.
First, it should be explained that the “porn” mentioned in the above articles is in reference to a few projects Tiffany starred in between 1999 and 2004 under the name Tiffany Bolton, including the movie Singapore Sling (aka Scandalous Behavior – 1999), short film 12 Hot Women (2013), and the Cinemax erotic series Black Tie Nights (2004).
Here’s a still of Tiffany starring as the Omega leader in 12 Hot Women (more on that below):
“My nudity rider said that they couldn’t show below my belly button or below the top of my butt,” Tiffany tells US Weekly. She points out that numerous actresses have gone topless and performed love scenes, but lots of them aren’t called “porn” by the media. “No one is calling Game of Thrones stars porn artists!” she exclaims.
There’s not a lot of information available (i.e. video clips or photos) from Tiffany’s movie Singapore Sling, but her Cinemax series Black Tie Nights is another story. In the series, Tiffany plays lead Cooper Snow, co-owner of the Black Tie dating service, and there are numerous videos and photos of Tiffany’s racy love scenes still available online.
A few of these seem to discount what Tiffany said, or at least seem to indicate that Cinemax didn’t always honor her contract rider. These two shots certainly feature Tiffany nude below her belly button!

As far as 12 Hot Women, it is exactly what the title says with a bit of espionage thrown in so that the “hot women” have an excuse to shoot guns and get into pool fights with each other. Here’s a synopsis of the “short film” from its own website:
Produced by Spirit 10 Productions™ and directed by Alan Chan, 12 Hot Women is a short film that makes light of what really sells in Hollywood. Disguised as a film trailer (since trailers are obviously the best parts of any movie), 12 Hot Women is self-conscious, lacking in substance, and true to Hollywood style, quick to hype itself up. Enjoy the view, but don’t believe a word anyone tells you.
“We were railing on all those short films on the Internet – laughing about how they were all artsy and pretentious, pretending to carry some deep philosophical message,” director Alan Chan said of the project. “Finally I said ‘You know, if I put twelve hot women in a movie, I wouldn’t need a plot!”
Here’s the video:
The movie poster and the “film” itself boasts: “No plot! No story! Just 12 Hot Women!”
Actually, there is the bare minimum of a plot in that the twelve hot women all belong to a supersecret government organization known only as Omega Omega. “Led by the mysterious Omega Leader Tiffany Bolton, these agents make for a perfect calendar set as they battle evil and oppression armed only with big guns and sexy outfits.”
Here’s Tiffany as “the mysterious Omega Leader” clearly demonstrating she had the right resume for this project:
It should be pointed out that 12 Hot Women doesn’t appear to contain ANY nudity whatsoever, and it is CLEARLY meant to just be a little bit of sexy PG-13 fun.
Getting back to Tiffany’s R-rated projects — she does have a valid point in that many respected actors and actresses often perform nude scenes on the big and small screen. But, I think comparing Black Tie Nights to Game of Thrones is a bit of a stretch. Clearly, the “Skinemax” series was just a vehicle for erotic naked sex scenes, whereas in Game of Thrones the sex scenes are not the only reason people are tuning in.
That being said, there is truth to what Tiffany said in that the actual scenes are very similar, and sometimes less graphic, than those featured in some critically acclaimed TV shows and movies. Would I qualify Black Tie Nights as softcore porn? Yes I would. Should Tiffany be thought of negatively for having filmed for the show? No, I certainly don’t think so.
I would go on to say that I believe Tiffany is creating more of a problem for herself by being so defensive about it. In effect, her defensiveness seems to suggest that there is something to be ashamed of if you have been involved with that type of project. Of course, I’m guessing this is all going to play out on the show, so it could be that she is just setting the table for that on-screen drama.
To find out if that is the case, be sure to tune in to The Real Housewives of Dallas (aka 5 Hot Women) airing Monday nights at 10/9c on Bravo!
