The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is the definition of an entrepreneur. She dabbles in everything from insurance, to wine, to diamonds but is now entering into a new endeavor: selling “gently used” items on Instagram.
The 52-year-old announced today that she has launched @vickigunvalsonscloset which is described as, “Vicki’s closet for gently used authentic goods.”
According to the Instagram page, it’s simple: once an item is posted, be the first to reply with a valid email address and you get the item. What’s unclear is exactly why these items are up for sale.
Is Vicki trying to de-clutter her life and make some extra cash or is she raising money for charity??? What’s also unclear is what happens if you win an item. According to the page, it says you will be “invoiced” but what does that mean?
The first item up for sale is this Louis Vuitton wallet. Vicki describes it as:

While it’s not a new concept for celebrities to sell used items for charity through eBay or other reputable sales outlets, it is unusual to see celebrities sell items via Instagram for an unknown reason. If Vicki is raising money for a charity, which one?

That’s not gross. There’s nothing wrong with selling something you don’t need or want, if someone else wants it, who cares. People who are interested in used products dont think it’s gross.
