The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore should be enjoying her days as a newlywed after getting married in June but instead she’s under pressure from production to include her husband in the upcoming season– or else.
According to TMZ, producers for the RHOA want Kenya to include her new husband, Marc Daly, as part of her storyline. The only problem? Marc doesn’t want anything to do with filming! Sources say he’s reluctant to be a part of the show because “he has big problems with the way RHOA portrays black men.”
Kenya wants to protect her relationship with Marc by steering clear of the cameras. She maintains “the show hired her, not her husband” and “there’s no mention of him in her contract.” Nonetheless, producers aren’t budging and have gone so far as to give her an ultimatum, “either get Marc on the show or she’ll be phased out.”
In addition to getting married, Kenya has voiced her desire to start a family as soon as possible. From a production standpoint, you can see how this would pose a problem: how would Kenya be able to keep her husband and family private while continuing to film the RHOA?
