Pretty Wild’s Alexis Neiers’ statements in Orlando Bloom Bling Ring robbery admissible
After her name was given to police by Bling Ringer Nick Prugo last year, Alexis Neiers was arrested and taken to the police station where she was questioned by detectives. She told the detectives that she was present at the robbery of Orlando Bloom’s house but that she was inebriated at the time and didn’t take anything.
Alexis Neiers’ attorney Jeffery Rubenstein has since tried to have her statement thrown out claiming his client repeatedly asked for an attorney during the interview, but Superior Court Judge Leslie A. Swain made a ruling that will allow the statements in court saying that Alexis had plenty of opportunity to invoke her right to an attorney based on video of the interview.
Alexis did eventually ask for an attorney about an hour into the interview, at which point detectives stopped questioning her. “I’ve never been in that situation before,” Alexis would later testify. “For me, I didn’t really understand.”
The trial is set to begin May 10 and the star of E!’s Pretty Wild faces up to six years in prison if convicted of the single felony burglary charge.
Oh no! What about Season Two?!? Actually, I guess I would watch Pretty Trialed. I’d probably be even more likely to watch Pretty Jailed!
