Pretty Wicked Moms: “The hardest part… is having to keep a human being alive”

Lifetime Show "Pretty Wicked Moms"

If you ever wished for Real Housewives spin-off that was all the cattiness but not as much money, it seems you’ll soon be in luck this June when Pretty Wicked Moms premieres on Lifetime.

“Jockeying to be the ultimate mom, this perfectly coiffed and manicured clique will stop at nothing to one-up each other,” teased a press release for the show. “Whether it’s extravagant birthday parties, devising a strict vegan diet for their one-year-old or masterminding their baby’s social climb (or should we say crawl?) to the top, there’s no end to their plotting and scheming.”

From the looks of the preview’s, the scale will tip in favor of comedy rather than drama with this show.

“The hardest part about being a mom is having to keep a human being alive,” quipped Emily Dees Boulden, the “Queen Bee” of the group.

Based on the press release, each of the six moms have already been branded with their own titles. In addition to the “Queen Bee,” there is the “Southern Belle,” the “Alpha Mom,” the “Newbie,” the “Divorcee” and the “Doggy Mom” — whose “child” is a Shitzu.

There are currently nine episodes of the show ordered by Lifetime. With so many things to pick at based on just the previews, it seems like the show is going to provide some incredible comic relief.

In the words of one poster on Cafe Mom, “All wannabe Barbie Dolls, drunks and too skinny from what I’ve seen. But I sure am going to watch it!”

Tune in to Lifetime at 10/9 C on June 4 to catch the premiere of Pretty Wicked Moms.
