I have no idea what Winx Club is, but I am an uncle with three young nieces so I do know how they think the world ought to look and the Winx 3D “Magical Adventure” Premiere at the Rome International Film Festival pretty much nailed it!
Apparently the film is in Italian and is the country’s first feature-length 3D release. Here’s a promotional video that won’t really explain anything if you only speak English:
Don’t think for a second that the red carpet extravaganza was just princesses, princes and horses! Of course there were scantily clad fairies shakin’ their hot wings and things!
From my limited research I learned that the “I Dream of Fairies” above are the actual Winx Club consisting of Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, Layla and Roxy. According to Wikipedia, Nickelodeon will be back with the complete Fourth season of Winx Club in 2011 and will co-produce the upcoming Fifth and Sixth seasons. That is all I was willing to learn for this post! Now, back to my nieces’ bedroom:
