These immensely powerful images convey the dignity of these unfortunate human souls. Sanjana and Priya look to be prematurely aged and hardened by their suffering, but they have a brightness that suggests their spirits haven’t been broken. I am hopeful that they’re able to somehow break away from this inhumane situation, and I commend the efforts of people and organizations like ECPAT.
