I don’t think anyone would dispute the fact that Rihanna knows how to use sex to sell records, but after some disappointing sales from her latest album Rated R she might be pushing the sinvelope a little too far. During her performance at BBC Radio 1’s ‘Big Weekend 2010’ held in Bangor, Wales yesterday Rihanna got a little “in your face” with her “intimate place” if you know what I mean:

Hoochihanna was sporting what looked to be a Pink Floyd inspired black leather short shorts onesie outfit that didn’t leave much to the imagination for those lucky(?) enough to be in the first few rows. And speaking of Pink Floyd inspired, Rihanna took the theme one step further by offering a Dark Moon from the Side:

Say what you will about Rihanna’s not-so-subtle implementation of the oldest marketing ploy in the world, but at least you know what you’re looking at. The same can’t be said for Ke$ha, who also performed at the concert:
Blunder Woman was dressed in American flag hot pants and was strumming what appears to be a Fender Stratoblaster. Ab$olutely ridiculou$.
Get used to seeing the Rihanna/Ke$ha pairing as the two will be touring the U.S. this summer!
