Just like most everyone in the USA, Paris Hilton is using the days after Thanksgiving for our country’s favorite past time… shopping! The 30-year-old celebutant was photographed at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, arriving in her brand new, cherry red 2012 California Spyder Ferrari worth about $280,000! (Click photo to enlarge)

Paris purchased the car (almost single-handedly rescuing the struggling Italian economy in the process) as an early Christmas gift for herself and had it delivered to her home on Friday. She shared her joy over her new ride via Twitter:

While at Barneys, Paris enjoyed shopping through some of the store’s new Lady Gaga merchandise, including this stack of Lady Gaga Christmas cookies, which Paris shared on Twitter as well as the tweet, “Love the @LadyGaga #Christmas cookies! So cute! ♥”

Though she didn’t appear to buy any of Gaga’s cookies, she did purchase a copy of the book LADY GAGA x TERRY RICHARDSON!

As for the Ferrari, a source revealed to E! that “Paris has always wanted a red Ferrari ever since being a little girl. She is a huge tomboy at heart and loves fast cars and bikes. She even has her own MotoGP racing team. Her team recently won the world MotoGP championships so she is celebrating!”
