The Help cleaned up at the 2012 NAACP Image Awards last night, taking home Best Motion Picture, Best Actress (Viola Davis), and Best Supporting Actress (Octavia Spencer). After the awards Octavia Spencer posed for photos in the press room and seemed to be walking on air… right up until she actually was walking on air and fell off the stage!

The NAACP Award adds to Octavia Spencer’s growing collection of awards for her performance as maid Minny Jackson in The Help. She also took home the Golden Globe for Best Supporing Actress.

Next up for The Help is the Oscars on February 26. The Help is nominated for Best Picture, Actress In a Leading Role (Viola Davis), and two nominations for Actress In a Supporting Role (Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer).
