Tamra Barney recently joked on a local news station that she ran Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino out the OC. Why did they really leave Real Housewives of Orange County, and what are they doing now?
Although there was a rumor that Gretchen and Alexis were fired, Gretchen claims that she was asked back and declined. She wrote in a Facebook posted directed at Tamra, “If I’m such a nobody then why are you still talking about me? And if I’m such a nobody why did production call me two months ago and ask me to consider coming back to film with you guys, which I declined. You don’t know anything about our exit or what happened because you were not privy to those conversations. Also hate to break it to you Slade & I do not need press, we get plenty of press without discussing you (google us). Maybe you should stop worrying so much about what we are doing, & get off twitter because obviously there is a lot more important things for you to be focusing on. #truthalwayscomesout #karma.”
Gretchen and her fiance Slade are also heading back to reality television May 30 with Jwoww and The Bachelorette‘s Trista Sutter for a WETV couples counseling show called Marriage Boot Camp. It seems the boot camp went well because just a few days ago Gretchen Instagramed about possibly planning her wedding at the luxurious (and expensive) North Carolina Biltmore. “It’s unbelievable! So much history, so much beauty, another great choice for a wedding!” she gushed. There is no word yet if they are going to have their wedding filmed for yet another reality show adventure.
Alexis Bellino doesn’t appear to have any reality tv projects in the works, but she has used some of her time away by going on a mission vacation. She shared this photo of her trip to Mexico this April that included some mission work at an orphanage.
“What was the best part of our entire vacation? Visiting RISE Orphanage and having our kids pass out I’ve cream and pajamas to these children. None of them spoke the same language by voice, but they did by heart. We are forever changed by this day.:
