PHOTO Tori Spelling burns arm on Benihana grill, undergoes skin grafts
Tori Spelling is reportedly currently undergoing skin grafts after burning her arm at a Benihana restaurant during a family outing.
The incident took place in Encino, California during a brunch on Easter Sunday. “Tori had been laughing and having fun with her family at Easter brunch,” a source tells the Daily Mail, “when she got up to leave and tripped, falling backwards on to a scorching hot grill. She shouted out in pain from a large burn on the back of her right arm.”
The source says that it was obvious that Tori was in pain, but she tried to keep a brave face to keep the kids from being alarmed.
The Daily Mail shared a photo of Tori leaving the restaurant in which she can be seen looking at her arm in obvious discomfort:

Tori posted this photo on Instagram before the Burnihana mishap occurred:
The reality starlet later posted another photo and referenced the injury:
Tori returned home and reportedly tried to treat the burn herself, but she was in so much pain on Monday she went to the hospital and was referred to the Grossman Burn Center in West Hills, California.
“Tori’s doctor’s determined she had a severe burn and suggested they remove the damaged skin and graft skin from another area of the body,” the Daily Mail‘s source says. “She questioned if it was absolutely necessary but doctors said she risked severe infection and scarring if she didn’t act right away.”
The source says Tori underwent a skin graft last week and is currently recuperating, but Entertainment Tonight reports that “Tori is undergoing skin grafts this week.” They add, “The process has already begun, and she’s been in and out of the hospital.”
Despite the skinjury, Tori will be keeping her scheduled appearances according to ET, including “a special book signing with her brother Randy on April 25” and supporting husband Dean McDermott when his book The Gourmet Dad: Easy and Delicious Meals the Whole Family Will Love is released on April 28.
Get well soon Tori!
