PHOTO Halle Berry wears “Reveal”ing dress to 2011 FiFi Awards
The FiFi Awards (basically the Oscars for fragrances) were held last night in The Tent at Damrosch Park in New York City’s Lincoln Center and everybody who is a body in the world of cologne and perfumery was in attendance. And speaking of bodies, actress Halle Berry had hers proudly on display in a very revealing One Million Years B.C. inspired black dress that exposed one of Earth’s most perfect midsections. The outfit was particularly appropriate for Halle because she was there representing her new “Reveal” perfume!
We all knew Halle is particularly easy on the eyes, but apparently she’s also pretty easy on the nose because she took home the Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award!
So congratulations go out to Halle Berry for her victory! Let’s hope she continues her theme dressing at next year’s event after she unveils her new fragrance, “Nude.”
Just in case you wanted to get a little bit better view of the Berry belly, here’s a zoomed in picture for you. (And no, it’s not a scratch and sniff so don’t even try!)
Here’s a little info on the FiFi Awards from their website for those of you curious to know more:
Each year, The Fragrance Foundation celebrates the “FiFi,” the “Oscars” of the fragrance world. Annette Green, President Emeritus of The Fragrance Foundation, conceived the idea of honoring the fragrance industry’s creative achievements. She could never have known that The Fragrance Foundation Recognition Awards would become symbols of excellence around the world.
The Foundation also awards the “FiFi” to outstanding fragrances, 15 or more years old, which have been chosen by the industry to have the distinction of being inducted into The “FiFi” Fragrance Hall of Fame. The award has become an icon for the global fragrance industry. In 1993, the first annual European “FiFi” Awards for the most successful men’s and women’s fragrances of the year were presented in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
