Party Crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi refuse to testify, will plead the 5th if subpoenaed

Tareq and Michaele Salahi will plead the 5th amendment

The House Homeland Security Committee has plans to vote Wednesday to subpoena the gatecrashin’ Tareq and Michaele Salahi to testify in court. If that happens, the Salahis plan to plead the 5th and not talk, according to a letter their lawyer sent the committee Tuesday. They will decline to answer every single question the Committee throws at them to avoid self-incrimination. An interesting stance for people who claim they were actually invited to the State Dinner.

Currently the Secret Service is investigating how the Salahis breached security and attended the State Dinner without being on the approved guest list. A number of possible incriminating emails have been released showing that the Salahis had no confirmation of clearance from the White House staff to attend the event.

The Salahis have been known for several scams involving charities, for misrepresenting their ownership of and health of family business Oasis winery. Michaele has also faked her way into Redskins cheerleader reunions, and falsely told publications she was a Redskins cheerleader and a former Miss USA.
