Almost as soon as reports were published that Tom Cruise and Laura Prepon’s rumored romance was the reason she wasn’t returning to Orange is the New Black full-time for the second season, multiple sources from the popular Netflix series confirmed that her character will be back and better than ever for the (virtually guaranteed) third season.
According to the über OITNB fans over at Buzzfeed, Laura decided to reprise her role as Alex Vause in the third season after talking things through with the show’s creator, Jenji Kohan.
That invalidates Page Six‘s new story about “industry insiders” who say “Tom Cruise is the reason behind Laura Prepon’s decision to leave the hit Netflix show.”
