UPDATE: The split is off, they’re working things out!
Beating Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries by damn near 30 years, veteran actors Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are separating after a long courtship and marriage.
The vertically challenged, always in competition for most adorable celeb loves, Danny and Rhea got married in 1982. The two dated for 11 years before getting hitched. They met after Rhea went and saw Danny perform in an off-Broadway performance of “The Shrinking Bride.”
The arithmetic tells me they’ve been together since the early 70’s. It also tells me this is sad and it sucks.

There’s been no official comment and frankly this time around I don’t wanna know, it’s just too darn sad. They share 3 children together.
