Nick Gordon tweets every so often–but his Twitter activity is only sporadic in the wake of Bobbi Kristina’s death, and his Twitter account is now private. Even so, news of Nick Gordon tweets travels quickly, thanks in part to the $40 million civil lawsuit Bobbi Kristina’s family filed against him.
Over the weekend, Gordon sent out his second tweet of the week, one of only two tweets he’s tweeted at all in months. “Can’t run from the pain go towards it,” he said. Gordon added “Somethings can’t be explained what caused it. When I lost you I lost it.”
Observers were quick to point out that the words are lyrics to Jay-Z’s 2006 track “Lost One“:
Gordon also shared a cryptic Bobbi Kristina-related message last Thursday, tweeting “When you would do anything in the world to spend five min with her again.”
Other than the occasional Twitter message, Nick Gordon has been largely invisible since being served with the $40 million Bobbi Kristina “toxic cocktail” lawsuit this summer. That lawsuit was amended over the weekend–by the conservator of Bobbi Kristina’s estate, who now contends that Gordon injected Bobbi Kristina with a “toxic cocktail” intended to put her into a coma, but that he did so only after “battering” her and knocking out a tooth.
Nick Gordon has yet to be charged with any criminal activities, though formal charges are believed to be coming soon.
