Miley Cyrus records a song for the Bob Dylan Amnesty International tribute CD
Can you say “Bob Dylannah Montana?”
It is being reported 18-year-old pop singer, and former star of Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus has cut a track for the upcoming tribute CD Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of AMNESTY International, due out in early 2012. (CLICK HERE for more details about the release with a list of confirmed artists appearing on the album that includes Adele, My Morning Jacket, Sting, and Ke$ha.)
The announcement came via E! Chief News Correspondent Ken Baker who tweeted earlier today:

And then:
Regarding @MileyCyrus new song, I will tweet more deets about the project very soon…
Wow – Miley Cyrus is performing on a high-profile Bob Dylan tribute album!?! Released by Amnesty International!?! What in the world could she be singing? Here are a few slightly altered suggestions…
Absolutely Sweet Miley
Hannah Montangled Up In Blue
Pat Garrett and Billy Ray’s Kid
Million Mileys
Visions of Johannah Montana
In all seriousness, my vote is for the classic Bob Dylan dance track from his unheralded 1990 album Under the Red Sky. That’s right, I’m talkin’ ’bout “Wiggle, Wiggle” y’all!
UPDATE – Ken Baker has co-written an article for E! about the Miley Cyrus Dylan cover, but he still doesn’t reveal what the song is.
