According to Miley Cyrus’ dad Billy Ray, the former Hannah Montana star is going to have three separate weddings to Liam Hemsworth.
Billy Ray (51) spoke with US Weekly Monday night at his Broadway premiere in Chicago. His family didn’t attend the show, he said, because they were letting him get “in the groove” first.
When asked about his famous daughter’s upcoming nuptials, Billy Ray joked for a bit while revealing that Miley and Liam are now planning three different weddings.
“Liam asked if he could have my daughter’s hand in marriage, and I said yes if I could be in his brother’s next movie. Now, they [Miley and Liam] are going to have three weddings, so I’m thinking one movie with Chris, then we got the sequel to Liam’s new movie [Hunger Games: Catching Fire] coming out. They have got three weddings, that has to be three movies for me.”

A lot of times a couple will have a very private ceremony just for themselves and/or a few very close people, and then for more friends and extended family, but what’s the third wedding for?
Miley has been very vocal about not rushing into marriage despite being engaged, so there’s no set dates for her three weddings, but whenever they happen, dad Billy Ray can’t wait to be there. He just sent her a text letting her know he couldn’t wait to walk her down the aisle:
“I just want you to know, whenever you’re ready, I’m going to be very proud to walk you down that aisle.’ She was like, ‘Daddy!’ with two smiley faces!”
