Kill Bill and Resevoir Dogs actor Michael Madsen was arrested Friday for felony child endangerment with cruelty to a child after he reportedly got into a heated argument with his teenage son.
According to numerous reports, Madsen was arrested at 3:55pm at his home in Malibu after the police were called about a domestic disturbance at the address. His son showed signs of injury on the scene, but did not need medical attention.
According to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the 54-year-old actor is being investigated by detectives from the Special Victims Bureau for allegedly being under the influence of alcohol when he assaulted his son.
Michael Madsen’s attorney, Perry Wander, tells TMZ “[Michael] found his son smoking pot and they got in an argument when he tried to take it away. It’s a family matter and Michael asks that his families privacy be respected.”
At the time of this post, Madsen is being held on $100,000 bail.

On another interesting note that no one seems to be talking about, Madsen was also arrested in Los Angeles County on Wednesday for some sort of misdemeanor charge. The online records do not list the charge, only that he was booked at 11:51am and was released after posting $5,000 bail.
