Meet Jessica Soares of Love in the Wild

NBC’s latest reality show concept is a hybrid of The Bachelor and Survivor as Love in the Wild takes ten sexy men and women and drops them in to the jungles of Costa Rica. From there they team up as couples hoping to win contests and find love along the way. I’ve been profiling the beautiful wild women of the show and next up is 23-year-old Jessica Soares from Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

There’s not much out there on the ol’ interwebs about our girl Jessica, the youngest contestant on the show, but here’s what I was able to find. According to NBC’s brief bio Soares isn’t one to keep her opinions to herself and that no matter what comes her way sparks will fly.

After arriving in Costa Rica each contestant filmed a brief interview video so I thought I would include that here for you followed up by some highlights from her Q&A:

“I wanted to be a part of this show because I needed something new and different in my life. My life was very boring and I  needed some sparks, something to just switch things up. Currently I’m single, the problem with me is I’ve always been in serious relationships. Cool people, just the wrong time and place.”

I think we can all relate to wrong time and place. The following quotes from Jessica reflect a true Bostonian at heart. You got a custom-made Boston gal when she’s all about the Sox, Irish men and beer!

“I wanna have a good time and hopefully something awesome comes out of it. My last relationship was kind of rocky, I loved the kid to death he was phenomenal but at the end of the day I was more of a mother than a girlfriend. I love blonde hair, I am a person who absolutely loves Irish men maybe it’s because I’m opposite. I’m more of, “Lets go watch the Red Sox and have some beers and be weird and make each other laugh until we cry.” I look like a Diva but I swear I’m not. I would never want to be stranded with someone who took things too serious.”
