Lynne Curtin files for divorce from husband Frank Curtin
Lynne Curtin, formerly of Real Housewives of Orange County, has filed for divorce from her husband Frank Curtin after twenty-two years of marriage. Lynne filed to separate from Frank last January, but had waited to officially file for divorce until recently.
According to TMZ, Lynne, who was last spotted on the red carpet in August in a form-fitting red bandage dress (photo above), visited the OC Superior Court earlier this month where she filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.” The documents claim that Lynne and Frank wed in April of 1990 and separated in January of this year. They have two children together: daughters Raquel and Alexa.
The couple was first rumored to be on the verge of a split in August of 2009 after being plagued with financial trouble which led to an eviction and even an arrest warrant being issued for Lynne.
After Lynne initally filed for separation, Frank told the press, “I’m deeply in love with my wife. Business is so bad, it has caused a lot of stress in my relationship. I love my wife. She’s just not herself right now.” When asked to confirm the separation, he said,”It’s hard to even confirm it. How do you confirm something that you don’t want? This is intensely personal. It’s very heartbreaking for me. We’ve been together a long time — for 23 years we’ve been together. It’s painful to even talk about it.”
Lynne, who starred on Real Housewives of Orange County during the show’s fourth and fifth season, is requesting spousal support from Frank, but as for her and Frank’s assets, she doesn’t seem sure about what they have or how she’d like to divide them.
Currently, Lynne is still living in Orange County and selling her cuffs and other jewelry. To check out her winter collection, check out her official website.
