Lifetime casting for Dance Moms Season 6 in LA
If you’ve ever watched Dance Moms and thought, “I’d love to argue with other moms, rally against the Candy Apples, and see my child at the top of the pyramid,” you’re in luck: Abby Lee Miller and the show’s producers are looking for more dancers and more drama for next season with an open casting call in Los Angeles!
Casting will be done through Mystic Art Pictures, and all information is available on their website. Dancers must be between the ages of six to twelve, and both dancer and mom must be available for filming up to sixteen weeks over a six-month period. The dancer should have experience and must be prepared to work with a competition dance team.

In addition to an online questionnaire, applicants must submit a series of photos of the mother and the child–including dancing shots. Links to recent videos through YouTube or Vimeo are also required for consideration.
Potential cast members will be interviewed through Skype and may be asked to attend a private audition with Abby Lee.

Producers will hold an open casting call on September 12 in Los Angeles. Dancers will have the opportunity to work with a top choreographer before auditioning live for Abby Lee and show producers. Anyone can attend the open casting call, but the questionnaire, photos, and videos must be submitted through Mystic Art first.
The precise location, time, and additional details of the call will be announced in the weeks to come.
The current season of Dance Moms airs on Lifetime Tuesdays at 9/8c.
