Kim Zolciak has had one heck of a week. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star officially announced that she will not be returning to the show following the upcoming December 2nd episode. After her announcement, rumors swirled that she had been fired, but then, it was announced that Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding would be returning to Bravo as a full time spin-off with a different name.
According to Deadline, Kim’s spin-off has officially been brought back for a second season and will be re-named Don’t Be Tardy … “Season two of Don’t Be Tardy… follows Real Housewives Of Atlanta standout Zolciak and Kroy Biermann in the next phase of their marriage, which involves the demands of their ever-growing family, purchasing their dream house, and a possible adoption,” the site reveals.
The first season of Kim’s show brought in huge numbers for Bravo. The season one finale captured nearly 2.5 million viewers which is more than any episode of Bethenny Frankel’s spin-off series. It looks like Bravo’s got a winner here.
Of the second season, Kim recently told In Touch, “It’s going to be a fun, lighthearted show about our crazy everyday life. My amazing husband is doing awesome in the NFL, we’re building a home, we have a teenager, a tween and two babies.”
