Kim Zolciak defeats Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks in “Tardy” court case
Usually the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta can settle their differences over some wine, wigs and hand gestures but when it came to the dance track “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party” it all wound up in court. Here’s how it started and recently ended…
Kandi, who’s legal representation just so happened to be fellow RHOA vet Phaedra Parks, sued Kim Zolciak over the 2009 song. Burruss argued that Zolciak cheated her out of a big ol’ bunch of the song’s profits.
Zolciak countered with her own suit claiming that Kandi was just using the lawsuit as a publicity stunt to try and promote her already-cancelled spin-off show The Kandi Factory.
TMZ reports that a judge has ruled in Kim’s favor citing a “technicality involving federal court jurisdiction.”
