Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson wedding photos and details
The Duggar family Matrimonypalooza continues as Josiah Duggar married Lauren Swanson on Saturday, June 30 — a day that the couple says “was absolutely perfect!”
The ceremony took place at John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and was officiated by Lauren’s father, Dwain Swanson. Lauren wore a wedding dress from The White Dress Boutique, and her eight bridesmaids all wore blush dresses made by Jana and Anna Duggar.
“What a joy it is to be husband and wife!” the couple told People after their nuptials. “Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!”

For their wedding colors, the couple chose a combination of grey and blue, pink and olive, plus green and white.
At the reception, guests enjoyed cupcakes, a candy bar and a strawberry shortcake-flavored, heart-shaped wedding cake.
Before saying “I do,” the pair hosted a “summer-style” indoor cookout rehearsal dinner with burgers, hot dogs and sides on the menu.
Josiah and Lauren also shared a video on TLC.com, which unfortunately we are unable to embed. (We’re trying to resolve our issue with TLC video embeds, but have had no luck getting them to work.) Here is a transcript of what the joyous newlywed couple had to say:
JOSIAH: We are SO excited to marry. It was everything — more than we dreamed of, really.
LAUREN: We’re still living in a dream! [laughs]
JOSIAH: We’re still living in a dream. I mean, it just happened just a few minutes ago, and we’re really thankful for family and everyone who spent so much time investing in our lives and got us to this day where we’re at.
LAUREN: The moment I said “I do” really, it really just kind of settled there for me thinking, from walking down the aisle, to looking in his eyes saying the vow was probably one of my favorite moments.
JOSIAH: I think for both of us, what we’re really looking forward to in this chapter of our lives is really spending time with each other as a couple — really slowing down for me. And for me, just, I made a priority years ago: just for my first year of marriage especially, slow down on as much works stuff as I can and really focus on our relationship to each other.
LAUREN: Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes, they’re greatly appreciated.
JOSIAH: Please watch the journey to our wedding day on Counting On.
CONGRATULATIONS to Josiah and Lauren! Here are some more photos from their wedding day from Instagram:
