Hayden Panettiere’s laser removing her misspelled “live without regrets” tattoo
Oh, the irony! It seems Nashville‘s Hayden Panettiere is laser removing her misspelled “vivere senza rimipianti” tattoo, which has an extra “i” in “rimpianti.” If spelled correctly as “vivere senza rimpianti,” the Italian saying translates to “live without regrets.”
Based on photos snapped this past weekend of Hayden rockin’ a bikini in Hollywood, Florida, the actress is mid-way through laser treatments. She got the ink in 2009 and has intended to fix it ever since… She just wasn’t in a rush.
Earlier this year, Hayden joked to Glamour about the embarrassing spelling mistake.
“It’s not that you don’t regret things in life, but you at least try to learn from them. It’s misspelled, too — so I literally have to live by that advice!”
Even with the error, Hayden flaunted the tattoo on the Glamour cover.
Fortunately for Hayden, the misspelling wasn’t nearly as noticeable as the character from We’re the Millers who had a “No Ragrets” tattoo.
Hayden definitely wasn’t the first celeb to get some ill-advised ink: Britney Spears had two tattoos with inaccurate translations. David Beckham misspelled his own wife’s name. Jon Gosselin asked for a tattoo of the name “Ellen” on his back, but ended up with “Erin.”
You’d just think that Hayden, who has one of the most frequently misspelled last names in Hollywood, would have done a little bit more homework before getting her own tattoo… At least she lives without regrets!
