Happy Valentine’s Day from Jean-Claude Van Damme’s 70’s stache
While for some, Valentine’s Day is this big ol’ bunch of happy love crap for the rest of us it’s time to be left alone with our Little Debbie boxes and Netflix. For those who find themselves pining for love on this annual reminder of loneliness rest easy because Jean-Claude Van Damme’s 70’s stache is here to save you.
What power does cupid’s little bow hold over the unstoppable force that is Jean-Claude’s righteous facial hair? Go ahead cherub, draw back your tiny bow because Van Stache is ready to grasp that flying arrow and snap it in half with the forces of all that is kick ass in the world!
The above photo, which had to be leaked so that those of us on the wrong side of VDAY might have a hero, was taken on the set of “Welcome to the Jungle.” This is sure to become one of the films I’ll watch on Valentine’s Day next year as I nom nom some Fudge Rounds and Diet Cokes. Here’s the plot summary to the film via IMDB that required the omnipresence of Van Stache.
“A company retreat on a tropical island goes terribly awry.”
That’s it and that’s enough. Nothing turns “awry” to “all right” like Van Stache. Who says you need a significant other to dance? Get up and let Jean-Claude sweep over you!
You know, there is something about Van Stache as seen above, that seems so gratified. It’s like the facial hair is saying, “Yeah I’ve done my Damme job and I’ve done it Damme well.” I couldn’t imagine what else it would be thinking but just so you know it’s not being smug let’s pan out a little…
That’s the power of Van Stache!
